Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss has let the world know that he doesn’t feel like paying coach Phil Jackson $12 million next season. Jeanie Buss, the daughter of Jerry, who also happens to be a vice president for the Lakers and Jackson’s longtime girlfriend, says Jackson isn’t planning to end his coaching career , according to ESPN. The New York Knicks need a center and Plan A, Marcus Camby (notes) , is supposedly getting close to re-signing with the Portland Trail Blazers , according to ESPN. So the Knicks have apparently been talking about trying to snag the 7-foot backup center for the Chicago Bulls , Brad Miller (notes) , according to the New York Post.
