Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh (notes) , and LeBron James (notes) may have met this weekend in south Florida to cook up a plan for the three of them to join forces on the Miami Heat , but Wade is also hedging his bets and visiting other teams, according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel. A "source close to Wade" tells the paper that he s says that he thinks the Heat really could snag the talented triumvirate, but he’s also going to visit with the New York Knicks , Chicago Bulls , and Dallas Mavericks in case that plan doesn’t work out

As much as Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban would likely want to try and get the Cleveland Cavaliers to do a sign-and-trade with him for LeBron James (notes) , it doesn’t seem like a very likely scenario so Yahoo! Sports Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Cuban is thining of attempting to work that same sort of deal with the Atlanta Hawks for Joe Johnson (notes) . Wojnarowski’s sources say that Johnson is "more likely to embrace a sign-and-trade to the contending Mavs" than go sign as a free agent with the Chicago Bulls or New York Knicks
