The New York Knicks showed a lot of heart in the first half of Game 3 Thursday night (May 3). Playing against the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the first round series, the Knicks actually took a nice four-point lead into halftime. Hard-nosed defense, hustle on every play and some timely shooting put the Knicks in the driver39;s seat during a must-win game.

COMMENTARY | Far too many times when Carmelo Anthony gets the ball, he channels an impatient New York City traffic cop at a busy intersection and begins waving everyone else wearing a New York Knicks uniform to the opposite side of the court so there39;s more room for him to operate.

The New York Knicks have fallen into an ugly hole against the Miami Heat in their first-round series of the 2012 NBA Playoffs, needing to win the next four games to come back from a 3-0 deficit.
